The Village Eye Care has been a prominent part of the area for 20 years, previously titled Village Eye Works. Dr. Baird expanded the location to do full scope optometryand then moved the practice to a larger location in 2010. They are now located in the medical complexes next to the VA Hospital. Their optical shop offers over a thousand frames to fit any budget and any lifestyle. The Village Eye Care does have Saturday appointments available and accepts a variety of insurance plans for your convenience.
Dr. Brian O. Baird was born and raised in Provo, Utah. Being one of 11 children, he has many fun and fond memories of his childhood. Education was always emphasized b his parents and was instrumental in helping him to pursue bis optometry career. He prefers and enjoys to do the majority of eye examinations himself. He restricts his use of technicians, thus assuring adequate time with each patient.
Dr. Baird owned a private practice in Montana for six years. The main focus of this practice was the co-management of cataract and glaucoma patients. He sold that practice and moved to Arizona where he purchased the Village Eye Works.
Dr. Baird is married and has six children, who help keep him very busy. He continues to pursue his interest in working with Glaucoma patients while putting in a day each week at the Arizona Glaucoma Specialists.
Dr. Barid received his Bachelor of Science in zooology from Brigham Young University. He went on to receive his Doctor Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis.
